Dimitrij's Serve
German Olympian Dimitrij Ovtcharov's serve ranks #36 out of 50 for Time Magazine's Best Inventions of 2008.
The serve beat out smog eating concrete! Luckily, in the name of credibility, the serve didn't beat out Airborne Wind Power. 
This is how he sets up but the rest of the serve doesn't look that genius from what i can tell from grainy youtube clips.

yup.. Those who follow Asian Table Tennis do not find anything remarkable in this serve. May be youtube videos do not have that serve.
