Spinal Tap

One of my favorite scenes in This is Spinal Tap.

Money quote:

"I do not think for one the problem was the band was down. I think the problem may have been that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed . . . by a dwarf."
It seems as though the RNC had a similar situation during McCain’s speech last night. I remember wondering what building was being projected onto the big screen behind McCain while he was giving his speech. I assumed it was his main house.

Apparently, it was supposed to be Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Instead, it was a picture of Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood.

I hope the McCain camp has a sense of humor about this for the sake of the audio-visual technician in charge of the backdrop.
